Functional units

Functional units can be used in a wide range of areas, which is why their importance has significantly increased in recent years. They generally have a uniform interface to a carrier vehicle and are designed, for instance, as personnel transport units, washroom units, workshop units or water cannons.

In order to ensure that the functional unit on a truck can be swapped as required irrespective of other lifting gear, they are changed using lifting systems. Functional units come in a wide range of different designs, which is why the depositing systems used to set them down also significantly vary.

Functional units are generally changed at stations or bases. Alternatively, our depositing systems can also be carried in a storage or transport rack. This will allow the particular module to be lowered, for instance, for use on the ground onsite. Our depositing systems can also be used to stabilise functional units if used while mounted on vehicles.

levelling support 272/D for subframes and platforms

Show details download Datasheet: 272D-Datenblatt.pdf

levelling support 272/D for subframes and platforms

The spindle support 272 / D is designed for leveling platforms, pallets and entire frames with ISO corners, on which various functional structures (e.g. power generators, air conditioners, masts, cabins, satellite antennas) and several equipment (e.g. tent roles, crates) can be placed. An additional, upper fastening point for the supports is not possible in these cases. The necessary stability is achieved by the cross bar, which extends outside of the platform dimensions and thereby does not have any disturbing contours with the devices on the pallet. The supports are dimensioned so, that the stroke is high enough for all Hetek heavy-duty rollers type 267 to be installed from underneath and with which the pallet can then be moved.

Roller movement set 267/C-1630618 with tow bar extension

This traversing system is based on the proven Hetek 267/C heavy-duty roller set modified with a frame for the drawbar extension and completed with adaptations for the attachment of the levelling supports type 272 for mounting and dismantling the roller set. The Hetek product 267/C-1630618 is thus suitable for traversing containers with special dimensions (in this case 9150 (L) x 4825 (B) x 1370 (H) mm), e.g. after unloading the container from a cargo aircraft to the assembly site or into a warehouse. The transport containers can be moved induvidually or two containers one on top of the other at the same time. The traversing system is mounted only on the lower container.
